What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic acid is naturally occurring in our skin but unfortunately levels dip as we age, and less of it is produced. The positive is the body is constantly making and absorbing it, just not as much of it as it once did. This degenerative effect reduces structure and volume from the face, causing wrinkles and folds to become more pronounced. Just like the collagen loss, when hyaluronic acid levels drop, the skin has less support.
How Does The Hyaluron Pen Work?
With a smaller molecule, the Concentration is penetrated into the skin by using air compression. There is NO needles.
HA concentration: Raw HA filler mixture is unique as it contains the following properties:
• total HA concentration
• amount of soluble HA
• average molecular weight MW and HA
Cross-linking : Cross-linking decreases the percentage of free-floating HA in the filler and makes the product more gel-like. This is believed to prolong the treatment results more than the concentration of HA alone.
Elasticity : The elasticity of the filler is dependent upon the size of the particles of HA and thetechnician will need to consider the following factors:
• GGel/fluid HA ratio
• Gel hardness/viscosity
• Gel expansion (resulting in post-treatment swelling)
